Yeah I know....I'm falling asleep at the wheel again! In my defense
though, that damed Facebook has been occupying most of my time!! I
still haven't tried the Bejeweled thing that Gloria keeps talking
about, but I'll get around to it when I know my crops on Farm Town are
doing well!
Anyhoo...Here's the life of BryM lately:
PHOTO OF THE MONTH
As
you can see, I'm not the only one in Casa de BryM to be a proud uncle
these days...here's RC with his niece Miranda, taken on Father's Day.
She is doing very well [she's the miracle baby] and has started to
crawl!! She's also learning to talk--though you can't expect much of a
conversation from a baby that's less than a year old!
Now if
you wondering why RC doesn't look too happy in this picture, it's
because I was desperately trying to get a shot of him and Miranda that
didn't have the light glare in the background from the french doors
they were in front of. It took several minutes, and being one that
hates having his picture made you can imagine what he was thinking......
SPEAKING OF MONTHLY
It seems as though the women in my life are getting a visit from Ms.
Monthly--all at the same time! My sister snapped at me yesterday
because I asked her what we'd be doing to my choppers at my next dental
appointment..she tells me, "Do you not have a phone that you can use to
call the office and find out?!" *Ahem...let's keep in mind that my
sister is the dental hygeniest and works for my dentist!!!
Then there's Cindy--I'm not sure what her
deal is, but she's been crabby for weeks now! I can't be around her for
more than a few minutes before she starts bitching about not being able
to find a job; going to school; the house; the pool; etc etc.....and I
know it may sound strange, but I think she's blaming ME for her
woes--she sent over some banana pudding yesterday because I was feeling
a bit under the weather. That was really sweet & all, except for
one thing: I despise banana pudding!
Here's a prediction about
bitchy women: I mentioned earlier that I haven't been feeling well, so
I've had to stay home from work today as a result. When I return
tomorrow, I foresee the hens having their feathers in an uproar because
I was out. It's just a feeling....
IN THE MEDIA
I heard a blurb on tv today--First Lady Michelle Obama has announced
that all Americans should try to live healthier lifestyles.........
.........er, ok, but what if I don't want to live a healthier lifestyle? Is the government going to make
me live healthier? Apparently so. First, the prez himself signed into
law that the FDA can regulate what goes into tobacco products. Yeah
yeah, I know..smoking is bad for you blah blah blah....but here's the
thing--first it's going to be watering down our smokes; then it'll be
regulating the amount of 'unhealthy ingredients' in our food; and
eventually the FDA will have the right to force us all to go to a gym 3
times a week. All in the name of a healthier nation of course.
-->Ed McMahon died today. Sad, huh? Do you think when he got to Heaven that Johnny Carson said "Heeeerre's Ed!!" ....??
-->John & Kate Plus Eight are getting divorced. I'm curious
though....if they live in a community property state, does that mean
each of them will get 4 kids in the divorce settlement?
AND FINALLY
-->My
poor cat Miss Bigglesworth is starting to show her age. She's been with
me for over 11 years now and I've not once had a problem with her
having "accidents" on the floor--at least not until about a month ago.
It started out with me finding little wet surprises on the carpet in
various rooms in the house, but I of course couldn't punish her for it
because I hadn't actually seen her do the diddle. Now though, she's
beginning to do it right in front of RC and me! Mad as I
get about it though, my anger is nothing compared to RC's!! I have to
constantly remind him that Miss Bigglesworth IS a senior citizen now
and she probably can't help it.
I'm afraid that this might be the beginning of the end for my Miss
B--why can't our pets just age like we humans?! I realize it may sound
a bit over the top, but when it is time for my cat to die I will NOT be
in a good place. She may be just a cat, but she's been with me since
she was barely 6 weeks old and she's been there beside me through a lot
of things over the years.
That's all for now!
My dog is showing his age. I've had him to the vet and he's not getting immediately well as I thought he would. You might want to take mrs. B to the vet. Cats get urinary track infections fairly easily. They also can have other disorders that would cause the "wet gifts". Most can be treated if found early.
I have to take this stupid FREE guinea pig in to have a lump removed on Monday $$$$$$, I can just imagine what it's going to cost.
take care, Bohemian
As for Miss B. I would take her to the vet also.. She may just have a bladder infection cured with one antibotic a day.
And how is Sammy ?
And for all the women in your life that are bitchy take it with a grain of salt and throw it away..
Stay safe
Gloria
I hate to say it Bry but if all these females are being bitchy and the only thing they have in common is you....... LOL
take care.. sounds like the truck is ok...
Farming on FB has ruined me
I'm a woman...I don't understand myself half of the time so no way will I even begin to try to explain why your friends are bitchy
I've never had a cat long enough to know anything about them really. I'm sorry your cat is getting up in age and not doing her best.
first it's going to be watering down our smokes; I think what he's doing is making them remove the bad chemical additives that keeps us addicted. The chemicals are NOT needed.
As for the women...it's our perogative...remember that!
