I wish I could say that today was uneventful, but given the fact that all Mondays SUCK, I of course can't say that today.

I hadn't been at work five minutes before the whiners started. The first one was a man who clearly has regression to childhood issues going on...he literally sounded like a 1st grader on the playground when he was asking me if he could come back in and get his discount that he was deprived of a few days ago. I think people in this area feel that's the only way to get what they want...they figure if they whine enough we'll give them what they want just to shut them up! Of course that's not always the case...there are people out there like me who will tell them "no" just to hear how far they will go in making a fool out of themselves!

The winner of the "Dipshit Award" for the day was this woman who comes in wanting a refund for materials that her contractor didn't use while making her custom bed. Well, turns out that the material had been purchased on the contractor's credit card...and the refund had to go back to the contractor's card...period. She wasn't at all happy about that, and no matter how many times it was explained to this woman, she didn't want to hear that SHE couldn't get the money for it. Finally, in a huff, she slammed her fist on the counter and exclaimed, "I'll NEVER shop THIS store again...." Now, you all know I've heard that before, so my response was, "you aren't the one who shopped here in the first place." Naturally, she stormed off, muttering something about "lousy customer service" while I snickered to myself. What really gets me is that there are actually people out there who think that saying something like, "I'll never shop here again" has some kind of effect. It doesn't. I really couldn't give any LESS of a shit if people like that NEVER darkened my counter again. I dunno, maybe I'm jaded, or just really not tolerant of stupid people who act like children.

Still no progress on the fraudulent phone thing...Verizon closes at 6pm and I of course didn't get home until after 7. So it looks like I'll be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow on the phone with them to try and get this mess straightened out. I'm NOT looking forward to it because I know they are not going to be very cooperative.

Well, that's about it for this evening! Time to go and do some much needed blog stalking! I'm going to go and peep in Candy and Bella's virtual windows!

Well, here we are...almost midnight and I'm just NOW sitting down to write here! It's been a long day, but the sad part is that the day hasn't really been all THAT busy! Admittedly, I found myself for the first half of the day surfing around on YouTube...and doing some more playing around with my home design software...you'd think I'd have run out of ideas after the first couple hundred designs that I did....but I guess I've still got a bit of creativity left in me after all!

The roomie and I ended up going to my cousin's house today...of course he's STILL only 90% moved in, and not a damn thing was UNpacked at the new place, even though he's not worked a single day in the last month and a half. Naturally, I had to help him unpack and put a lot of stuff into storage....by the time we were done, we discovered that he really DOES have a living room floor after all! After that, I collapsed into a chair and watched tv for a while and then we played a few games of Yahtzee..exciting huh? Yeah, I'm a wild man!

Only a few more days before I find out if I've got the new job or not! I'm keeping my fingers crossed so hard I've lost all feeling in them now! Given the fact that I'm extremely experienced in the field, if I DON'T get it for whatever reason, I'm just going to give up and accept the fact that I'm going to be stuck in retail hell for the rest of my days!

Tomorrow is the day that I get to have a showdown with a collection agency and a telephone company about the fraud that someone committed in my name...it's going to be a hassle to get the info that I will need to prosecute, but it'll be worth it in the long run. Especially if it turns out that it's someone that I know who perpetrated this act against me...I'll take great pleasure in frying their ass!!

Yes, it's true. I'm actually posting to let everyone know there's no post tonight. As has been the case all week, it's been a very long day and quite frankly, I'm just not feeling so creative...what I AM feeling is tired, so I decided to forgo a post tonight.

Hmmm...but wait. I'm posting about not posting, so that counts as a post doesn't it?

Damn.

I'm going to bed.

Ok..as if my life doesn't have ENOUGH drama going on right now, this evening after work I come home and check the snail mail...I open a letter from a collection agency for disconnected phone service....that I never had! Now normally, I'd just fly off the handle at the collection agency and let them know very quickly that I'm not paying a bill that I didn't incur...but this time it was just a wee bit of a different situation.

Turns out that the phone number listed is in the area that my brother used to live in....yep....the first thing that I did was call him to find out if he'd used MY name and social security number to get phone service...he of course denied it. Come to find out....it's either my ex sister in law or someone in her family that has committed this act of fraud. Yes, whomever it was is going to FRY. Sizzle sizzle baby!

Yeah, I know...deep breaths deep breaths.

Anyway...on to lighter things. The interview yesterday apparently went better than I'd thought...the two hours that I'd initially been told it would take (when in actuality it only took 30 minutes!) was the result of a form e mail. I had been stressing that I'd blown it because the interview was far less than 2 hours! So now, I'm breathing a little bit easier...of course I won't officially BREATHE at all until I know that I got the job!!!

For those of you who have been anxiously waiting, I'm FINALLY here! Sheesh! What a day!!

It started out with the job interview....I'm THINKING that I did ok, but it was one of those interviews where they asked questions such as "what have you done in the past when you were asked by an employer to do something that was completely unreasonable?"....Jesus Christ, I HATE those kind of questions on a job interview. Of course MY response was, "I've never been asked to do anything that I've felt was unreasonable"...how'd that sound???

So anyway, I was told initially that the interview process would last about two hours...it only lasted around 30 minutes or so...so I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not!? Of course at the end of the interview, I was told that once the interviews are finished for this week, they'll make their decision and let me know by mid week next week. GAAAAHHHHH!!! So NOW I get to spend an entire WEEK waiting, worrying, and wondering if I got the job or not!!!

If for some reason I do NOT get it, you guys can expect a pretty bad few days out of me because I will NOT be in anywhere close to being in a good mood! However, if I DO get it, well then you all are going to have to get Bella and Candy BOTH to hold me down!!
